If your MSFS 2020 keeps crashing to your desktop, and you have exhausted all the remedies in the forums, and on YouTube, try this. 

Uninstall MSFS 2020 using the Steam App, or Windows Apps and Features. 

Next, if you have the Steam version of MSFS 2020, go to the Steam/Steamapps/Common/MicrosoftFlightSimulator/Packages folder.  Otherwise, find the /MicrosoftFlightSimulator/Packages folder on your computer.  In the Packages folder find the folder named "Official."  Delete the Official folder.  

Now, reinstall MSFS 2020.  It will probably take a couple of hours, but that should get you going.  This worked for me.
